The Cross Roads complex opened in 2004. The first Chicken Inn will be opening at the end of October 2009 in Lolingwe at the Checkers Complex and then Chicken Inn will penetrate the Blantyre market early November 2009.

In November 2003, UAC of Nigeria Plc acquired the master licence for these Innscor Brands. UAC Restaurants was created in September, 2006 as a result of the merger of the two restaurant businesses of UAC - Mr. Bigg's & Menu Masters Divisions.
